So Christmas Break is coming up.. Yay.
At least that means this semester will finally be behind me. (btw- next semester is going to be great, apparently) On the very positive side it means an entire month to myself seeing as I will most likely not be going to Spain (never sent in my passport to be renewed).

SO things to do:
-go to Twilight!! (let's be honest already seen it three times)
-Volunteer at Riverview, maternity ward
-maybe, hopefully, a few riding lessons
-not eat
-go to Church
-WRITE!! yay... (Right Marine? Right Air For. will be on the top of the list! promise..)
and it shall be the month of completion, for many a fic..

anyway, if anyone is reading this who also reads my stuff on fanfiction.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/~samanthadelanojacksonsetealconeill) feel free to leave your preferences!!

Thanks Lovebugs!!! :)

TA (Twilights Anonymous)

Hi, my name's Liz. I've had a Twilight Addiction since 2007.
I first met Twilight through a Reading List in Falmouth, Maine entitled something like Recommendations for Teens. I'm not quite sure why I actually bought it since I'm not really a 'vampire' person but I did and like most Twilighters as soon as I finished Book 1 I sped (like Edward through the forest) to my local Borders and purchased the next two novels (New Moon and Eclipse) and devoured them equally as quickly. And again like most Twilighters I squeed and zomged when Breaking Dawn came out and at the news that Summit had picked up the rights to make it into a film.
The weekend after Thanksgiving I had the joy to view that film and oh my- all the squees and zomgs were worth it. Yes, the chemistry between Kristen (Stewart) and Rob (Pattinson) is that good. Yes, Catherine (Hardwicke) 's cinematography is that great. And yes Stephanie Meyer does make a cameo appearance. I honestly can't find the words to describe how happy it made me! Summit did such a wonderful job and translating Meyer's vision to screen and while it isn't verbatim the spirit remains intact.

Summit has also announced that they are in the process of making New Moon and it should be done and out by the end of 2009 or early 2010. Unfortunately Ms. Hardwicke will not be at the helm of this next film. Sadness.. :( . However I, personally, am willing to trade my love of Ms. Hardwicke for the quick release of New Moon.
*sigh*
Love the entire Twilight saga!!!!!

Parent's Make Me So Nervous.. (I Either Want to Hurl and Crawl Out of My Skin)
-

So I write this at like 5:35 in the morning, the day before All Hallow's Eve- waiting for morning to roll around. Why? I'm not quite sure because all that will bring is laundry, showers, and parents. But apparently I don't sleep anymore.

Unfortunately for the Lt. Colonel's of the SGC I am back into threesome mode (poor Sam and Cameron, they know I'm just using them for their bodies). Also back into old stories, reviews are like drugs, let's be honest so bless fanfiction.net. Insomnia makes you write fast, who knew? Looks like RAM?RAF. and possibly The Musketeers with a side of Dotre will be getting adrenaline shots. YAy! Something that doesn't make me want to.. Well, something I get positive feed back on at least.

For all those who crave the SGC orgy like I apparently do
I suggest "...and think of Stargate Command" (http://medie.livejournal.com/1543206.html)
Sam/Cam/Daniel- excellently written

and let's be honest, anything Redbyrd's written is fantastic (http://www.mindspring.com/~redbyrd/index.htm)

Please try these out, and I hope you enjoy them as much as did!!! :)

Bones

Bones
(Fox Network)
An hour long forensic drama that is based upon the life of Kathy Reichs, forensic anthropologist and bestselling author. The protagonist of both is Dr. Temperance Brennan, played on "Bones" by Emily Deschanel (sister of Tin Man's Zooey Deschanel). The co-protagonist, FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, is played by David Boreanaz (of Angel fame).
The premise of "Bones" is that Dr. Brennan, employee of the publicly funded Jeffersonian, is loaned out to the FBI to help Agent Booth solve murder cases were only the bones remain. In the beginning their relationship is driven by business but eventually they form a true partnership. (Season 3 sees the introduction of psychiatrist Dr. Lance Sweets and all scenes where he pries into their relationship are wonderful)
The draw of Bones goes beyond the intelligence factor (although it is quiet a plus that the writers credit us with IQ's above 60) right to the chemistry between Ms. Deschanel and Mr. Boreanaz. On screen the two share a relationship that has never before been seen, they are true partners. Both excel in different areas which means during the investigation they complete each other and they also have great respect and admiration for each other. It also helps that youtube has so much behind the scenes footage of the two of them.
I definitely recommend this television show for all fans of the crime show and the romantics who are looking for a mature ship.

The July 4th Weekend

little lady in waiting
So my weekend celebrating the anniversary of the country's independence was actually spent in Falmouth, Maine. If it rained there I would move in an instant. Fireworks were obligatory, of course, and there was also some familial bonding which was very nice.
I was returned from a not crazy weekend to a crazy week. Crazy 6 hours of class everyday and crazy great people to chat up. And on that note we (the lady's of 194) viewed Wanted for the second time and surprisingly, in the most wonderful sense, I actually laughed harder. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good time and doesn't fuss over minutia.
Of course I returned full of adrenaline and bunny plots. Still haven't decided if it's a gift or a curse... Angelina Jolie's Fox remains at the core of the bunny fodder so brace yourselves more to come on that level. And as per usual the AU future plot, thee most persistent and challenging of all bunnies.

Ashley (my sister, aka. lovebug) remains radio silent as she battle the harsh sea of the Chinese language. I'd like to imagine she's having a good time, although not to good of a time, and will write with sagas of her adventures in Beijing. Hang tight Ash 2010 is on it's way! *a young sasquatch, a sea bear, and an animal spirit all wave*

This upcoming week includes more lessons on drugs and sex all cleverly disguised as part of the world of Classical Mythology, numbers and programming that don't quite make sense, and photographs that are more than documents and less than art but will, without my consent, change my opinion about all pictures I now see before kicking my butt on a five page paper. The week will culminate with another trip to beautiful peninsular Falmouth were I will re-stomp on the grounds of Camp Onaway, the bestest all girls camp in the entire world.

Busy is always better than not but I don't quite know where Wall.E and the Incredible Hulk are going to fit in..
